There are no restrictions on use and distribution of this software as long as the "donationware" clause is passed along.
Download and installation instructions
Sticky Notes program was designed and tested under Windows 95. It should run
without problems on WindowsNT.
There are two ways you can get the program from here. The first option is to
download the executable only. It is recommended if you have the newest
mfc42.dll and msvcrt.dll installed on your system. If it is not the case,
we recommend downloading the installation package which will install the
needed files only if they are newer. It will also create an entry in the
Add/Remove Programs folder.
- Download the executable file here and save it as "sticky.exe".
The file should be 27136 bytes long (version 1.01).
It is a Windows executable, and should run as is. You might want to create a shortcut to it and place it either on the desktop or in the accessories folder.
You might also consider placing the user .stn files created by
Sticky Notes in a separate folder.
- Download the archive here and save it
in a temporary folder. Run it in windows explorer, after which run
program "setup.exe".

- Double-click on the note name in the list to toggle visibility
- Select several notes by holding CTRL key and use Hide/Show/Delete buttons to act on multiple notes at the same time.
Uninstall
Apart from creating notes files (with extension stn), the program makes several
entries in the system registry. If you are really concerned with those, please
delete the
HKEY_USERS\Software\Amateur Programming
tree.
